Der Zweck der Stiftung besteht darin, die von Frau Theodore Catharina Thoolen de Cates in ihrem Testament vom 22. April 2001 getroffenen Anordnungen auszuführen. Der Zweck der Stiftung besteht daher in der Unterstützung von juristischen oder natürlichen Personen, Organisationen und Institutionen und dergleichen, die zur Hauptsache mit einer gemeinnützigen und/oder wohltätigen Zielsetzung im sozialen Bereich tätig sind, im In- und Ausland, vorab jedoch in der Schweiz.
