Der Verein bezweckt in gemeinnütziger Art die Schaffung und Unterstützung von ganzheitlich durchdachten Entwicklungsprojekten, die im besonderen der Würde und Selbstbestimmung der Menschen sowie der Erhaltung der Mitwelt Rechnung tragen. Austauschprogramme unter solchen Projekten werden gezielt gefördert. Bei Not kann auch humanitäre Hilfe geleistet werden. Zu Sensibilisierungszwecken werden die Mitglieder und Unterstützenden regelmässig über die Projektarbeit und deren Kontext informiert.
